Advanced Chess provides a promotion mechanic to the basic game of chess. In order to promote your pieces you must fullfill the specific conditions for that piece.
Once promoted you gain new options to move and/or capture using that piece giving expanded tactical options to the game.
The new rules are easy to learn without destroying the basic feeling of a chess game.
The biggest advantage is the rules are absolutely free, all you need are tokens to track the promotions on your existing chess pieces! We recommend poker chips, as they fit easily beneath most standard chess pieces.
